Shared marketplace standard

QIX Rentals is designed for premium stays, editorial discovery, concierge support, host-grade operations, booking clarity, and trust-first participation. Guests and hosts are expected to use the platform with honesty, respect, care, and reasonable judgment.

These Guidelines apply to listings, profiles, messages, reviews, support tickets, concierge requests, reports, bookings, host dashboards, paid host tools, and any other marketplace activity.

QIX Rentals may review conduct under these Guidelines, the Terms of Service, listing rules, payment requirements, support records, and applicable law.

Respect and safety

Users must not harass, threaten, intimidate, exploit, stalk, dox, demean, or abuse another person. Users must not use QIX Rentals to coordinate violence, illegal activity, unsafe conduct, or interference with a property, host, guest, neighbor, service provider, or support team member.

Users must not discriminate or encourage discrimination based on protected characteristics under applicable law. Listings, messages, rules, reviews, and support claims should be written in a way that respects lawful equal access and fair treatment.

Users should report urgent safety concerns, credible threats, fraud, property access issues, or dangerous conditions through appropriate emergency services where necessary and through QIX Rentals support when platform review is needed.

Honesty in listings, bookings, and profiles

Hosts must present properties accurately. Guests must present booking needs accurately. Users must not create fake accounts, fake listings, fake bookings, false identities, misleading profile information, manipulated availability, inaccurate guest counts, or unsupported support claims.

Content should reflect real experience, current property conditions, actual services, and truthful marketplace activity. Users should promptly correct material errors when they become aware of them.

QIX Rentals may remove or restrict content that appears misleading, incomplete, unlawful, unsafe, duplicative, promotional in a deceptive way, or inconsistent with marketplace standards.

Payment integrity and no circumvention

Users must not use QIX Rentals to avoid platform payments, service fees, host payout workflows, Stripe processing, taxes, cancellation terms, dispute processes, or safety review. Requests to move a booking off-platform to evade fees or policies may lead to account action.

Users must not submit unauthorized payment methods, misuse promo codes, abuse refunds or chargebacks, misrepresent payment status, route host payouts outside required flows, or interfere with Stripe Checkout, Stripe Connect, or Stripe Billing Portal workflows.

Hosts must complete required payout onboarding before accepting paid bookings. Guests must keep payment details accurate and lawful.

Reviews and marketplace feedback

Reviews should reflect real stays, real host or guest interactions, and genuine experiences. Users must not buy, sell, trade, pressure, threaten, or manipulate reviews or ratings.

Reviews should not include private information, irrelevant disputes, discriminatory language, extortion, threats, or content that is false, misleading, or designed to punish a user for enforcing lawful rules.

QIX Rentals may remove, limit, or investigate reviews that appear manipulated, irrelevant, abusive, fraudulent, or inconsistent with review standards.

Support claims and reporting

Support tickets, moderation reports, concierge requests, damage reports, safety claims, and refund requests should be accurate, complete, and supported by relevant documentation where available.

Users must not submit false evidence, omit material facts, exaggerate claims, impersonate others, retaliate through reports, or use support channels to pressure another user into off-platform concessions.

QIX Rentals may consider messages, booking records, payment status, listing details, photos, support history, user conduct, and other available records when reviewing reports.

Property care and neighbor respect

Guests must care for properties, follow house rules, respect neighbors, use amenities safely, supervise invitees, and promptly report accidents or damage. Hosts must provide reasonable arrival readiness, accurate rules, and safe property information.

Unauthorized parties, commercial events, excessive noise, illegal substances, weapons misuse, tampering with safety equipment, unauthorized animals, or unsafe use of pools, water access, fireplaces, kitchens, garages, vehicles, or amenities may result in immediate review.

Hosts and guests should communicate early about access, maintenance, safety, noise, check-in, checkout, and other material stay issues.

Privacy and user information

Users may receive limited information about other users for booking, arrival, messaging, support, payment, or dispute purposes. Users must not misuse, sell, publish, scrape, harass with, or disclose another user's personal information except as needed for the booking or as required by law.

Users should keep sensitive details out of listing content, reviews, public profile fields, and unnecessary messages. QIX Rentals is not designed for unnecessary health, financial, or highly sensitive personal information.

Screenshots, recordings, message exports, and booking records should be handled carefully and lawfully.

Moderation and enforcement

QIX Rentals may warn users, remove content, restrict messaging, pause listings, cancel bookings, disable paid host tools, remove boosts, adjust marketplace visibility, require verification, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take other action where conduct appears inconsistent with these Guidelines or other policies.

Moderation decisions may consider safety, fraud risk, payment status, user history, evidence quality, legal requirements, operational risk, and marketplace trust. QIX Rentals may act quickly when needed to protect users, properties, payment systems, or platform integrity.

Users may contact support with relevant information if they believe a moderation decision should be reviewed.
